Limitations with Amazon Alexa
In the Amazon Alexa app, you can view and control BUSY status and switch it from automations. However, changes of BUSY status can’t trigger automations in the Alexa smart home. That’s because BUSY Bar is recognized in smart home systems as a smart light, and Alexa routines can’t be triggered by one.
